Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff are co-writing another sci-fi series! The original announcement can be found here!

So it was going to be called the Andromeda Cycle (as in set in the Andromeda Galaxy), but they pulled it back into the Milky Way Galaxy. They said it’s a mix of Guardians of the Galaxy and Six of Crows SO IM EXCITED. I found that out through their interview here. They talk about it during 8:50 mark.

The first book is called Aurora Rising and you can add it to your Goodreads here!

So Kian Lawley (idk who he is but apparently he’s a YouTuber) was going to play in Angie Thomas’sTHUG, but dropped after he made racist comments and I’m glad they made that decision.

So now K J Apa, who you probably know from Riverdale is replacing him. I don’t like Riverdale a lot, it’s just not for me + so I don’t really know what his acting is like, but I guess I’ll see!

Ahh so these probably won’t be ‘weekly’, but maybe from time to time?

  1. I love this post! It’s nice to have all the updates in one convenient spot. Pretty much everything was new to me except the cover for What if it’s Us 🙈 I live under a rock, apparently. And the UK covers are always soo much prettier than the US ones!!

    1. It does! I don’t know how I feel because the book wasn’t my favourite, but of course I do want to go and support it! I’ll definitely try to reread the book and see if anything changes for me though.
