So if you missed my March wrap up from yesterday you can find that here, but otherwise here is this months TBR!

April TBR

  • Defy The Worlds by Claudia Gray
  • Love & War by Melissa De La Cruz
  • Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
  • The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
  • Furyborn by Claire Legrand
  • Rebel of the Sands TRILOGY by Alwyn Hamilton
  • To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
  • The Heart Forger by Rin Chupceo
  • The Astonishing Colour of After by Emily X. R. Pan
  • Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson

So quite an ambitious TBR, but I am on term break for two whole weeks so I’m hoping to get a lot of reading in! (and maybe more then this but we’ll see?)

Okay also idk how reading a whole trilogy will go, but I consider myself a fast reader? Too ambitious? Definitely ahah

    1. I’ve heard nothing but good things about TSoA and I’m so excited to pick it up! I did read the first Rebel of the Sands book and I remember liking it, but I did forget a lot haha

  1. I’m hoping to pick up Love & War this month too!I have no solid TBR plans for April, since this is the last month of my semester, but I definitely want to fit in an Empire of Storms reread.

    1. I can’t wait to read it, but I’m so nervous because of the broken heart on the cover. Good luck! Ahh have fun! Well try to with EoS haha. I’m going to reread all of the books before TOG7 comes out!

    1. I can’t wait to read them! I like Defy The Stars better then The Firebird trilogy, but hope you enjoy both! The Firebird trilogy was actually one of the first YA series that I read. Thank you!!

    1. Me too haha! I remember liking the first one, but apart from that, I don’t have much recollection of what happened. I’m excited to start though!

  2. I picked up The Song of Achilles as a mystery buy at an independent book store. I had never heard of it and it wasn’t my usual pick but I was blown away by the reviews and ratings on goodreads so I’m interested to see what I’ll be getting myself into

  3. Haha, I totally think you can read the whole Rebel of the Sands trilogy in a month Cindy 😀 Granted, they’re super long books but the binge is worth it – especially since you won’t need to wait after cliffhangers!
I can’t wait for Defy the Worlds – I’ve been waiting for that book ever since I turned the last page in the first book. Hope you have a great April!

    1. I’m an ambitious gal 😂 I really hope so because I know next term will be even more hectic. Ah okay that’s such a good idea yeah. My friend held a 24 hour one and that was productive so I might try one just by myself haha. Thank you!

      1. My mind just blanked because I’m from Australia and Summer is in December for us so I was like wow she’s so organised 😂 but yes Summer/Winter. Ahh hope it goes well!!

  4. Good luck on bingeing the trilogy! I haven’t read it yet, but I do know I’m awful at reading series, haha. I always start picking up something else in between and then another something else and.. then I end up with a whole stack of sequels I have yet to read? Oops?

I should definitely try and pick up Furyborn even though it isn’t on my TBR. I thought it was releasing soonish? Ugh. I’m focusing on books for an author event right now – Children of Blood and Bone, The Last Namsara and The Novice are the ones I am reading / picking up next.

To Kill a Kingdom is on my TBR – heard GREAT things about that one so I hope you enjoy it! I loved Daughter of Smoke & Bone – made me want to go to Prague, haha. I’ve been struggling with the sequel though but.. Like I said, that’s me and my eternal battle with series. :’)

    Happy reading!

    1. Thank you! I know what you mean, and then I always end up forgetting what happened in the previous books oops

I think Furyborn is being released next month, so I definitely want to try to read it and get my review up before then. I didn’t enjoy The Last Namsara a lot, but I hope you do!

ahah I’m so excited to start both of them! Thanks for reading!

      1. Same, haha. I just saw a tweet by someone asking to put like a one or two page summary at the start of each sequel – just in case it’s been a while since you’ve read the previous book. Like, that would be heaven?!

Okay, reading Furyborn this month is now yet another goal to reach, haha.
Such a pity! Keeping my fingers crossed I end up liking it. 🙂

        Thank you!
